How to make a telescope

Telescopes are greatly used to view the distant objects in a closer view. This will help to view even that objects that are not visible to the human eyes. These objects can be viewed with the help of telescopes which even help in getting a magnified image of the astronomical objects.

These telescopes are constructed with the help of the lenses in a special fashion to get rid of the short comings with naked human eyes.

To understand how to construct a telescope, it is better to know, how the basic working of a telescope is. The telescope is basically constructed with the help of the two lenses.

These lenses are called the objective lens and the eyepiece. The objective lens will focus the light from the distant objects to a focus.

This focus is nearer to the human eyes. Then the eyepiece will help to spread this light inside the retina. When the retina space is increased, the image becomes clearer and gets a magnified picture.

Thus it is clear that the essential parts of a telescope are the two lenses. So if you are going to construct a telescope, you have to get two apt lenses of the needed power to focus correctly. Again, this is dependent on the use for which you are going to construct the telescope. This is because the purpose greatly influences the power and quality of the lens that is being used in the construction.

To construct the telescope, the first requirement is two lenses. The lenses need to be magnifying lenses. It is advisable to have a bigger lens and a smaller one. This should be made available with a printed paper also.

The eyepiece and the objective lens have to be chosen from this. Here is where your knowledge on the working of the telescope will help you with.

One lens has to be placed in between the user and the paper. It is wise to use the larger lens for this purpose. It is seen that the image of the paper formed will be blurred. Now the second lens is kept in between the eye of the user and the first lens.

This lens will be of course the smaller one. Now you can notice changes in the image of the paper. This is due to the presence of the smaller lens.

Now you have to do the adjustments. This is done with the help of the movements of the lenses. The smaller lens is generally moved to get the better image. The lens can be moved forward or backward.

The adjustment is made with the help of an analysis of whether the image of the paper is becoming clear. There can be seen that the print varies. It becomes larger in size. At the same time it looks upside down also.

The telescope is found to be ready only when the image is clear in the glass. You have to move the second lens in this manner. Thus the two lenses will combine to form the telescope. The adjustment of the lens has to be varied till the final image is clear, that makes it clear that the telescope is ready.

This is a simple construction of the telescope. This telescope can be extended to various other purposes to make a better telescope. This telescope can give a more clear view of the objects.

These telescopes are used in various astronomical and non-astronomical areas. They all work with the help of the adjustment of the lenses and this is the basic construction of the telescope.

 Origins Of The Universe

The story of the cosmos, its beginning and its changes through timehas been a topic of much speculation and myth.

It also has attracted intense attention from scientists. There are many questions about the universe's size, stability, growth, and its ultimate cause.

This presentation also addresses such colorful cosmic topics as red shifts, white dwarfs, black holes, super strings, and the "big bang".
